Unilever is seeking a Maintenance Leader for our factory in Odense. At our factory, we produce detergents under our strong brands such as Neutral, Biotex, and OMO. Our goal is to offer the best products in detergents to our consumers and be the best supplier to our customers. Our strong brands stand for quality, service, and innovation.
The factory is in a positive development, and significant investments have been made in recent years. This journey continues in the coming years. It is essential for the factory's performance that the production equipment functions every day and that our production lines run as smoothly as possible.
We are looking for a Maintenance Leader who has the skills and desire to lead this work, where the overall focus will be on improving uptime on the lines. This will be achieved by strengthening preventive maintenance, identifying potential improvements on the lines, along with implementing them. In addition to this, we also have exciting projects running concurrently, so you will also be part of this project team to varying extents. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance & Engineering Lead.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Plan and allocate resources for maintenance tasks in collaboration with the company’s stakeholders.
- Develop maintenance plans/systems and keep them up to date.
- Develop autonomous maintenance in collaboration with operators and the ManEx team.
- Identify OLE (overall line efficiency) improvement initiatives and implementation of these.
- Ensure that the correct spare parts are in stock and reorder when necessary.
- Support technicians in troubleshooting.
- Administrate IT and software systems at the factory (production programs, inventory management programs, printers, and factory IT hardware).
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- You have an educational background as a mechanical engineer, bachelor’s degree in Technology Management, Marine Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
- You have knowledge of automatic systems/technical installations and enjoy being a hands-on person who is willing to pick up tools when needed.
- Experience from an international company is an advantage.
- Previously experience from mechanical and electrical work
Skills
- You possess a high drive, and you are engaging and service-minded – we are here for production and to help with a smile.
- Structured so that tasks are completed, and your maintenance plans are carried out and adjusted.
- Good understanding of finance and keep an eye on the department’s budget.
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and not afraid to take the lead when there are challenges (currently, there are 3 technicians permanently assigned to the factory).
- You are a team-player who helps solve tasks, even if they are not always within your area of responsibility.
- You prioritize safety and quality above any thing else.
- Good English skills are necessary, as we work across borders.
